Banquet and Meeting Closing Day--Oct. 2010
Gentlemen,
We had our closing day activities Wednesday at Holly Hills. We began the day with an 8:00 A.M. buffet breakfast followed by our annual closing meeting and a round of golf. We had 15 MISGA golfers attend our morning activities, and we changed the format a bit and played a five member scramble. The first place team yesterday with a score of 66 was Bill Price, Ron Banta, Bob Gearinger, Joe Stover, and Jack Remsberg. The members of this team received $15.00 for their first place finish! Joe Stover scored an eagle for his team on #16 from approximately 50 yards out! That proved to be the difference for the winning team. Nice shot Joe!
During our meeting yesterday, it was determined that Tom Tarpley will be the new Club Representative for 2011. Tom has had many years experience with MISGA on the local, Division and State levels and will again do a great job in leading our local group.
Our evening reception had 28 people, including members and guests, and we had another great meal prepared by our food and beverage staff. After dinner, Club Representative Dick Schwinger presented the MISGA Championship trophies to Bill Price, low gross and Jim Strosnider, low net. We then announced our 2010 MISGA Player of the Year award winner. JACK REMSBERG was the winner this year. Congratulations Jack on a great year of supporting MISGA and a great year of golf!

To ALL who missed, it was a most enjoyable evening and day. John Warfield you and Bobbie were in our thoughts.
